SEAGUAR ANNOUNCES BULK SERVICE SPOOLS FOR TACKLE RETAILERS, A RESULT OF CONSUMER DEMAND TO SPOOL IN STORE

Louisville, KY (June 2025) Spooling fresh fishing line on a brand-new reel is a tradition as old as fishing reels themselves, and while some anglers prefer to do it themselves, many choose to have it done in their favorite tackle shop. As a result of consumer demand to have Seaguar behind the shelf and spooled onto reels with line spooling machines, Seaguar, the originator of fluorocarbon fishing lines and leader material, has announced 3000-yard Bulk Service Spools specifically for fishing tackle retailers.

"The new bulk service spools were a long time coming and are the result of strong consumer and retailer demand for Seaguar fluorocarbon lines to be available to spool reels in tackle stores," said Gerry Benedicto, General Manager of Seaguar. Now, it allows the consumer to spool their new reel with premium Seaguar fluorocarbon line or bring in their reels to have it done by professionals. Seaguar, a trusted leader in fluorocarbon lines, is well-stocked in top tackle stores across the globe but, until now, had no representation behind the counter. Bulk service spools are the solution and offer a benefit to both retailers and consumers. 

For the retailer, it's a popular service to offer while providing the highest quality fluorocarbon line to their valued customers. The consumer gets the No.1 brand of fluorocarbon line with the quality and performance benefits that Seaguar is known for, with the added convenience of having their reels spooled quickly and correctly on line spooling machines by experienced employees.

Initially, bulk service spools are offered in two of Seaguar's most trusted and popular fluorocarbon mainlines: Red Label and InvizX. These two lines are staples in the lineup and are well-suited for many fishing applications and techniques.

Red Label fluorocarbon is strong and highly abrasion-resistant. While it can be used on any reel, it's designed explicitly for baitcasting reels due to its tough and unforgiving nature. The bulk service spools for Red Label will be available in six sizes: 8, 10, 12, 15, 17 and 20 lb. test.

A softer and more supple fluorocarbon material, InvizX, was specifically developed for use on both baitcast and spinning gear. It's a highly manageable line known for excellent casting distance and overall performance. The bulk service spools of InvizX will be offered in eight popular sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17 and 20 lb. test.
