Seaguar Introduces TATSU™ – The World’s Only Double Structure Fluorocarbon Main Line

Seaguar®, the inventor and world leader in fluorocarbon fishing line, recently introduced TATSU™ – an amazingly strong, yet supple, fluorocarbon fishing line with extraordinary knot strength and exceptional castability.

Known as R-18 in Japan, TATSU™ – Japanese for dragon – provides anglers with remarkable tensile, knot and impact strength through Seaguar’s exclusive, state-of-the-art double-structure process.

Double Structure Fluorocarbon (DSF) creates two custom, 100% Seaguar fluorocarbon resins: a softer exterior resin to enhance knot strength and a high-density interior resin to improve tensile strength that are extruded together as one solid piece. The end result is a high performance fluorocarbon line that offers anglers tremendous application flexibility. It can be spooled on spinning and bait casting reels as a mainline, tied to braid as an in-shore top shot and as a premium leader material.

Available in 4 to 20 lb test in 200 yd spools, TATSU™ also features Level Wind Technology™, another Seaguar® exclusive. This process spools the line by laying it down side by side, never crossing itself. The final spool is as smooth as a spool of thread, with no cross contact marks, for maximum line strength without any line overstress or twist.
