What were you doing in 1971 when Seaguar invented fluorocarbon?

I was 6 years old, in 2nd grade, and fished with my dad for Sea Trout in the Banana River.

What type of fishing line(s) were you using in 1971?

Back then all we used was mono…cheap and reliable but not high performance like lines today.

Describe your perspective on how fishing lines have changed over the years since 1971

The inventors have made the line stronger and less wear resistant since understanding the molecular structure.

What is the biggest "breakthrough" in line you've seen?

Fluorocarbon without a doubt!

When did you first try Seaguar fluorocarbon?

It was 1989 when I returned home from the United States Air Force and started fishing again. I thought it was great because I was catching more and bigger fish! I figured I was able to catch bigger fish because they were not able to see the line, and I still think that theory is true today.

Which Seaguar product is your favorite and why?

I prefer Fluoro Premier because it helped me win over $200K in Redfish tournaments.
